Party today was great !!!!
Lots of free stuff and prizes ! Comp's and games galore !! Was amazing ^_^

i got to beat customers and make them do some pretty insane things while running the speed painted compition...
but honestly, was it really that cruel to make people paint with their brush held in their teeth, while hopping on foot & spining in a circle with their eyes closed?!?!!

oh, and the free cake was a very nice touch too!

LoL one of the 2 cool gw employees at my local one ordered a cake that cost 150.83 to tick the manager off.....it was HUGE and had the warhammer logo made out of white chocolet (Safe to say we where all feeling pretty damn sick after eating it) But i grabbed hairy the hammer since i figured why not he is a vampire if anyone asks..........Not to mention the 25th Chrome Dice just for the fact they can break models with there weight lol

As for Contests.

There was speed painting which i lost in due to i took the hardest to paint model...(but i got a free Old school vampire.......a goblin with 3 colors on it got first place even know mine was most detailed <.<

There is a raffle for the 250 dollar 25th rule book we all entered winner is unknown currently.

Last but not least it ended up as a 12000 vs 12000 point battle.........everyone vs one persons Dwarfs\Empire\Brits.....we got crushed due to both sides dispell dice nothing could be cast T.T and he focused all his fire on my count since i was the only one DOING anything. (Along with the wood elf player nexet to me everyone else basicly watched lazy $#(@s they hid there units)

hey stitch. its not cruel, thats what makes it fun !!
We had to paint like that and walk in circles and even stopped painting which confused us lol.
My model won though !!! I was well surprised

We got to do a warpstone comp too !
Stick our heads in a BIG bowl of jelly and try and grab a sweet with our mouth

- construct your own warhammer contest. must be non-lethal in nature. best looking hammer won a battleforce + army book.
all warhammers entitled the owner to a 10% discount for the day

- 'will of iron' speed painting. i had too much fun running this one!

- 'make hairy's day'. bring in any painted, non-mounted character & take on hairy!

- 'whack-a-mole'. use your warhammer to battle for blisters! first one to hit the blister wins it.

- squig hopper racing. 'nuff said! burping, ****ing squigs on the rampage!

- free cake and pop.

- raffle ticket for everyone who entered. prize is the 25th anniversary edition rulebook set.

busy, busy day for us, but it was a real blast and i think everyone really enjoyed themselves!

Can you send your stores manager out to where i live? lol that hammer would own since i HAVE a sledge hammer that make an awsome warhammer (just uh...a little large) I would of killed with it for that free battle force! (really needs more core troops for vampire counts)

hammers that people made had to be non-lethal! and keep in mind that re-decorated sledge hammers were specifically banned...
as a safeguard against abussive hammers, i got to test them on their owners...

Although we did walk around wiht tattoo's on our heads saying REPENT, quite a few strange looks form shop keepers etc we visited that day :P

Metrotown. And now i really want to make a "hairy" the hammer, and iv learned simple models are better for speed painting! Also one of the 2 awesome staff members is being sent to E'avy metal in a month T_T

we just used paint class marines for our speed painting event... sadly the mall we're in is under going renovations so we couldn't prime any of the plastic gandalf's we have to do 'hogwarts house' speed painting!

i'll have to check out metrotown's photos when i'm in working next!

and that's great news about one of your staff! means less compition come games day in the staff entries!lol!

No...he will still be around for that, as for photo's none where taken. are speed paint was randomly left over mini's from there auction how ever. One kid got Marco Columbo, i got a nech Vampire, my friend took my vampires little ghost monkey. and another kid got a dark elf standered barrer of some sort\so on. So they where good mini's to pick from but to win you had to take one of 25 orcs or goblins to make it look good in time.
