Deamons or Mortals?!?

ok guys i have totaly lost interest in my beast, so i am goin to switch direction, Deamon, or Mortals??? the new deamon stuff looks realy cool, and i have always loved the fantasy chaos nights, with all the changes comming up i dont know what to do.......

so why have you gone off the Beasts?

if it was me making that decision, i would go with the mortals - thats just what i prefer - having said that, the decision is based upon the HoC rules for them, and the new version is likely to be far superior!

one thing i was discussing with mart the other day was that if you go with Daemons, then for the most part (and as long as your opponent doesn't mind the square bases) you buy one fantasy army and get one 40k army free - so its worth considering that!

p.s. i'm after as many ungors as i can get if you have any to sell!

hard choice.

id say mortals - im sure their release will include plastic knights, plastic chariot, plastic warriors and (fingers crossed) new marauders. thats enoug hright there to get me interested.

add a unit or two of bloodletters (or whichever is your fave daemon) and youre onto a pretty cool army

Or you could use the rare earth magnets and make 2 sets of bases, just switch them out for whatever game!

No input for you though GG as I am interested in dwarves and orcs for fantasy. Not really my thing.....

trouble is DC that the indication is that the books don't mix anymore - it will be like the Daemons' 40k counterparts and the Codex: CSM - under ordinary circumstances, allying is not an option and they are treated in all respects as seperate, non Dogs of War armies

Sense the realse is so close of the new Deamon Army book I would wait and have a glance through that at your local shop. Then make your decision. As it stands right now. Mortals are by far my favorite WFB Chaos group. My self and a good friend of mine have had great success with both Khorne and Tzeentch lists. I did have a deamon list at one point and it was fun to play, but man did it get kicked around pretty hard most of the time.

yeah sucks. i was gonna go khorne warriors and knights with a bunch of new bloodletters and fleshhounds. but now it seems as though they arnt goin to be as compatable. though maybe they will still have some deamons in a mortal list . i guess i will just have to wait and see. just sucks =cause i wanna play fantasy

ok so today we wher lookin threw the new deamon book. and it looks sick! im pritty sure im goin to starty a deamon army. so now i just need to come up with the 230$ for the army box in a few weeks. also need to finish off my Warmachine army.... DAM U GW!!!!

yeah it was an advanced store copy. and ohh boy it looks good! Dark insanity! (replaces deamons A atribute with 2d6+2 attacks rolled at the beginning of every combat!!!) and the speartip army box comes out in 2 weeks.........
