Blog Entries: 4 |  Mighty Empires The new Mighty Empires update has been released (or will be very soon). Using clip together plastic hexes with moulded terrain these look realy good-tough and durable and its designed so it can be used on a table or hung on a wall out of the way (nice touch). Got a couple of the tiles as a freebie and the look quite good! I always liked the idea of a map based campaign with battles fought when armies meet but never got into Fantasy enough (maybe its time for that Chaos Warband). Wonder if a 40K version is on the cards-would be quite simple-maybe mod one of my own!

| I think a 40k version would be nice. It would, of course, have to be on a much grander scale. Are those freebies you got from White Dwarf? I recieved those two tiles, and they've piqued my interest.

Blog Entries: 4 | 40k version would be a bit more complicated: more buildings, more land types (the latter is a maybe, it seemed right as of typing) and would also be different (its not fantasy anymore, duh lol) but it would be sweet to have for campaign purposes just curious, is anyone actually going to get the full set? or are you just sticking with your WD tiles? (i'm sticking with WD tiles, I don't think I need to have a huge campaign map ;P)

| I just got the WD tile yesterday and I really like the idea. If the local shop gets it in I'll definetly get a set. My friend says he'll get a set too, and getting a few more of the WD tiles online would be nice too.(Those tiles and markers aren't in the set after all) Two sets...massive map...10 players... Talk about optomisim.

| Banned | ive still got my old copy of the mighty empires game and klove the rules! i cant see why GW wasted money making plastic tiles when they could have chopped down valuable forests to make cheaper and more cardboard ones  but think GW is against anything paper (i swear, codex books will be in plastic soon)i like that the new ME has very simple rules, to allow people to come up with their own thing, but i am really a fan of complex and fun campaign systems like the old ME. btw, the tiles are gorgeous, and i hear that they are strong enough once put together to be lifted off a table and hung on a wall, which is cool |

| They are indeed! We're using them at my local store for the Nemisis Crown campaign, and we have them hanging on the wall in the back of the shop. We all have 5 tiles, and we're just generally trying to take other people's territory. Good fun!
