 |  Need help picking an army... Can anyone help me pick an army? One that will be easy for a fantasy newb, that has lots of plastic models hopefully, and can school Dwarves and Ogres. Bonus points for being humanoid.

| I was considering Vampire Counts... I was also considering Empire, High Elves, and I'd love do, but cant afford Dark Elves seeing as theyre all metal. Maybe I'll make a poll...lol

| I'd go with Empire, Dwarves, or Wood Elves Empire or Dwarves because guns are cool! Wood Elves because their mostly-plastic new line-up is so friggin awesome! That, and they can field an all-tree army; aieee!

| dark elves arent all metal (but mostly, true. and i hate that) but in my opinions vampire counts are pretty tricky to play with, and empire is the best noobs army. lots of great cannons are good against ogres, and morters/cannons can rip through dwarves, negating their usually high armor save and toughness. high elves (all elves for that matter) dont have alot of high strength weapons, though 4 repeater bolt throwers (yea dark elves!) are scary no matter who youre facing.

| A wise choice picking empire, vampire counts and high elves are both due for re-release in the near future. Im starting an empire army(my 3rd) with the new release. The army deal is awesome, only one metal model, the cool wizard of the bright order! Its like hes on fire!!!lol |

  | Well as I don't play fantasy anymore and orks aren't among the choices..I'd say Empire then elves then vamps...(I don't like what they did with the undead anyways so) gotta love an army that can field cannons and have a coupla battlemges in it...and of course the musketeers are ok against those frellin dwarves too...(Death to Dane) will have to wait and see about the new releases, as I may get back into it...I just hate the whole concept of combat in ranks...never worked for me...

| if you want something fantasy fantasy get vampire counts... you have skeletons, you have zombies, you have vampire, you could have militia (yes imperial troops you like into your sylvanian army)
