Default tomb kings

I wanted to start a tomb kings army(got the army book), i was wondering what would be a solid foundation for my eventual 2000 pt army
i have two 40k armies, both "elite" types, so no experience in a horde type
thanks

skellies, id say

the thing with tomb kings is you need to really master the 'magic' combos of the tomb kings/lich priests. once youve figured out what works best you should be ok

though seriously, the core of tomb kings are skeletons, and dont forget chariots.

regarding more special things, screaming skull catapults and the casket of souls are both very good (though being both rare, difficult to choose between). ushabtis are a general monster and great models. and swarms are great too

what should the skele regiment size be, i'm thinking 40, but not sure if it is tacticly sound. the other stuff, ushbati, chariots, skull catapults, are more or less self-evident
thanks for the comments, hoping for more

well whatever size the skellies start you can always raise more. the common wisdom for combat unit size is 20-25 so that sounds like a good place to start.
