| Trooper ![]() | OK, well i have been thinking of starting a WHF army for awhile now, but no army caught my eye unitl i saw the new VC models. I love the look and ideas behind them, but as the Army Book (I managed not to say codex! ) isd not released for a couple of weeks yet im at a bit of a loss as where i will start. Does anyone know (From the old book or educated guessing) whether this army will be good to start with? My other option is the High Elves, but...... bah, i used to have a HE army and they have a certain 'Arrogant A-hole' aura around them. ![]()

Blog Entries: 1 | well i happen to know that a unit of blood knights make a unit of frenzied khorne chaos knights look like a bunch of kiddies on a merry-go-round and that corpse carts do some very interesting things to both your army and the enemies wizards. |

| Trooper ![]() | Cheers! Iv just seen the rules for the Blood Knights (Minues points values) and HELL but i am having a unit of them in! Even in game like 1K points, i need to squeeze them in somehow! ![]() And the Corpse Cart... i love the model! It all sounds good so far ![]() Which are stonger for Troops, Ghouls, Zombies, or Skeletons?

Blog Entries: 1 | they all have their selling points. as i understand it skellies are all round better than zombies but zombies don't have a max size per unit so they can be as big as you want, and the corpse cart allows them to strike first if they're within 6" i think. don't know much about ghouls though. |

Blog Entries: 1 | I am about to teach you the dirtiest trick you shall ever learn in fantasy. You Can Take Blood Knights In 500 Points. Hey if Dwarves can do it with Ironbreakers you can do it with Blood Knights. Old Vampire Counts were not newb friendly. New ones are apparently a lot more "Make Sense"ish. They play like any other army would (Not in the gunline/charge terms, but as in they can be played by anyone). Plus they have some amazing models. My recommendation would be a Blood Dragon Vampire Lord with a body guard of Grave Guard or w/e they are called. The ones with the Killing Blow rule <3. Good luck whatever you take though. And yes, High Elves are arrogant A-Holes.

| Trooper ![]() | Haha, i love it so far! Yes, Blood Dragons seem by far the strongest fighters and giving him a steed and sticking him with a unit of Blood Knights in 500pts.... haha, well, just the word "Mess" comes to mind. Mess along with UTTER BLOODY CARNAGE. ![]() And yes, Grave Guard sound fun with KB.... I can't wait to get my hand on that new Army Book ![]()

| The Witchhunter ![]() | right, this is for when the new book comes out - there are no max limits anymore but by the same token apart from zombies it is much harder to reanimate them. skeletons are your best bet for hiding characters since characters cant join zombies. nice as they are those blood knights cost! you are looking at 275 points for the minimum sized unit. not trying to put you off with that, just trying to give some insight. also, since the bloodlines have been blurred, you can have a much more tailored vamp so that may suit you well |
