  |  A cunning rouse So there is potential on this coming Sunday for myself and Drax to get a Apoc game going. Limited to about 3000pts. I'll be sing Space Wolves. No surprises there. Drax... he is the problem and the reason I'm putting this thread out there. He has 1.5k Chaos marines and 1.5k of sisters. Not your normal allies. SO I'm calling all to think of a reason why we can make it work for a story. My thought is... *Puts best gruff film voice on* "When sisters go bad!... Essentially the sisters turn to chaos after being lost near the eye of terror. They get rounded up into this small chaos warband. My Wolves whilst out for a jolly (possible searching for sausages from the butcher shop)... uncover this unusual force and decide to take it on for the safety of Fenris and the Imperium. Thoughts...

| its ruse, not rouse!  we needn't go into that much detail, it can simply be 'Drax had to do it this way to be able to play an Apoc game' besides, we havn't got permission yet to take over your brother's house. and it would have been much more cunning if you had used this thread to shame mart into taking part |

| i'm thinking along the lines of the sisters have been duped by a recently renegade chapter into purging what they think is a tainted population, however, the space wolves are party to more up to date info than the Sororitas, and see through the lie sorry, but i just can't make my witch hunters truly evil. and its a better reason than i initially came up with: ensnared by a shiny new expansion book, wolf lord krom stormbrow demanded that two factions that would never ally together face him so he could brag that he beat two armies in one go! |

| BLASPHEMY! of the worst kind sure sisters might turn, the chaos gods are tricksy like that, but then their rules wouldnt be the same you couldnt use acts of faith then, since its caused by their faith. in the EMPEROR, not the pantheon. plus, Sororitas are the most zealous of the imperial servants. if they were duped by some renegade into purging a population, they would realize their mistake, or still think they did it in the name of the emperor. plus, they have the power of the ecclisiarchy and the inquisition behind them so honestly the wolves wouldnt attack them. the only time you could really use the witch hunters codex with chaos, is if you dont have any cult troops and have a chaos force dedicated...to Malaal! |

| well technically you could rename all the acts of faith and attribute them to chaos ? :P i know, it seems outlandish...but so does an army of traitor sisters ! :] haha either way, it's an interesting notion...haha. on second thought, i think it's definitely blasphemy too dan. XD

| personally i think that this game is doomed to failure. most of my chaos is in bits, what isn't mainly doesn't have arms heads backpacks or weapons. i can manage 1.5k of sisters pretty much WYSIWYG, so if we can convince mart or dan to join in... unless of course you want to join our Cheese List Challenge pod? |

| Your the only one dooming it. There is a simple answer to you Drax. Mart has already said he isn't battling. Your incesant whining will not make him change. He wants to paint and that's fine by me, hes offering us the use of the board. If you can use those chaos against Mart... Why can't you use them against me? Or are you actually afraid your earlier comment of beating you might just be true? Dan will probably be at Football with Harry.

| 1. i will be driving in the morning so can't come around until after 1 2. it will be a mix match force 3. "in apocalypse upgrades and equipment must be represented on the model" most of mine don't even have arms and heads. 4. the difference with my list for use against mart is that everything will be explained to the opponent, and each of us will know exactly what is what. doing that for 25-30 models is fine, but doing it for 3k worth of points is going to be a bit more difficult. |

Mine will be WYSIWYG, so it'll only be like starting a normal game for us. It's an additional 1000pts to explain above what we need to do anyway. I felt it appropriate to reply in the same way.
