Blog Entries: 5 |  A Custom Vehicle for the Black Saints  or  Two variants of a VDR vehicle I created for the Black Saints as a mobile command center. There are exactly 16 veteran marines who rule the chapter. 16 because the number of praetorian guard (the only accurate/official count) was 16 cohorts, roughly 16K troops. So, 16 veteran marines leading the Chapter. 10 of them are all in a Veteran Squad (game play wise) and 3 are the more powerful/heads of the chapter (Chaplain, Librarian, Master.. rather like the Triumvirates Rome had). Each of the 'big three' has a equerry, a second in command/voice that is drawn from the same corps as them (big 3 = master, master of sanctity, epistolary. equerry's = codicer, lieutenant/captain/whatever, and epistolary). Hence why the two structure points were used (to indicate the staggering size of the mobile chapel/command centre, and to house 16 marines), and why the transport capacity was maxed. I also gave it the weapons I did as I was thinking.. 'Hmmm.. Lets make it a land Raider Crusader on crack crossed with a Storm Sword!!!' Very open to ideas, c&c, etc...Also, which version is best you think?

Blog Entries: 5 | I know it's crazy... I just want opinions... This tank is actually the command center for the Black Saints on their homeworld of Sentarus. They have no dedicated structure (beyond the Coliseum, their monastery where they indoctrinate the recruits, etc..) beyond this.. So I chose 6 structure points to make it HUGE to represent that.. The idea for the guns was this is a shock assault vehicle. It rolls up blasting all kinds of DAKKA.... And things die. See the attached PDF....

Blog Entries: 4 | For some reason I see two sets of coaxial gatling vanquisher cannons. and a vulcan megabolter strapped to the front... You want one titan-killer gun on it, but you want a similar rule to the Inferno cannon on the siege dreadnought, i.e every time you fire, roll a d6, on a 1 the weapon overloads and counts as weapon destroyed. Can only fire head on. range 48-72 2 twin heavy bolters, 2 lascannons. Can fire ordnance even if it moves. May not move and fire any other weapons,

Blog Entries: 4 | demolisher cannon and vanquisher cannons are different to my knowledge. The one on the Macharius for example counts as a multiple barrage, so if you give it one gattling set of those (six barrels) you could end up with a max of six ordnance shots from it, scattering for each. Then you have the AT shells where it counts as twinlinked...

| Well with the VDR your imagination is the limit...as long as you subscribe to the WYSIWYG rules and are able to construct your model to the VDR standards...(that in itself is the hard part)...like I said in my earlier tutorial...build first...then go for the datafax...doing it the other way around is not only harder but much more time consuming...
