| We all know and love the extra armor upgrade and the granted ability to reduce crew stuned to crew shacken. Well how about these options to add to the existing rule for an aditional 5-20 points. This will be availible to all Imperial Guard, Marine, Chaos*, Inquisitor, and Sisters of Battle vehichles. *Can not be combined with the mutated hull upgrade. Extra Armor(Reactive)- Reduce all crew stunned results to crew shacken. Ignore the first penetrating hit caused by a bilistick type weapon. Example missile launcher, melta bombs auto cannon, rail rifle. All laser weapons gain a +1 on the glancing hit table due to the nature of the armor. This is a layer of armor that explodes when impacted by enemy fire. The idea is that the explosion deflects or prematurly detonates the shell. Extra Armor(Reflective)- Reduce all crew stunned results to crew shacken. Ignore the first penetrating hit caused by a laser type weapon. Refelctive armour is highly polished or specially coated material that reflects or dispurses focused energy. This gives the vehichle a blocky apearence. Example Las-cannon, Bright Lance, melta gun. All balistic weapons gain a +1 on the glancing hit table due to the nature of the armor.

| Someone's being doing their homework on reactive armour plating. ![]() Reactive armour greatly increases the weight of the veichle so some kind of movement modifier would be needed to represent the engines struggling with all the extra weight. Prehaps -1 inch to all movement. |

| Yes and no. Modified the Reflective armor with a discription of what it does. Well any specil armor is heavier then what they put standard on it. How about Reduce the AV on all sides by -1 minimum of 10

| Kinda defeats the purpose of extra armour then, wouldn't it? Usually you need at least 2 shots before you score high enough to penetrate, in my experience. The reactive armour would be more effective at deflecting glancing shots. How about this... on a 3+ the tank ignores any glancing hits. |

| How about this. You pick reactive or reflective and shot with the respective weapon you roll a D6. You ignore a glancing hit on a 4+ and a penetrating hit is reduced to a glancing hit if shot with the respective weapon. I.E. a poor mans spirit stone. However if shot with the opposite the weapon gains a +1 to it's strength.
