Tell Me What You Think:

Heavy Weapon Fortified Emplacement 100 PTS
(Heavy Support Choice Or Take 3 As An Appocalypse Battery)

Vehicle Type: Immobile
Front Side Rear BS
14 14 14 4

Improved Targeters: +1 to hit.
Reinforced Armor: You may have your opponent re-roll the result of a penetrating or glancing hit, The second roll stands even if it is worse than the original.

Crew: 2 Space Marines

Options:
Must take one of the following Options:
Take 2 Twin Linked Heavy Bolters For +45 PTS
Take 2 Twin Linked Las Cannons For +70 PTS
Take 2 Twin Linked Plasma Cannons For +75 PTS
Take 2 Twin Linked Assualt Cannons For +70 PTS
Take 2 Twin Linked Autocannons For +75 PTS

I like those!! I bought the FW models that are very simular to them not to long ago. OLD SCHOOL models but cool non the less!

and those rules sound legit to me! 2 marines loader and shooter, and the upgrades are about right. Maybe have Hvy flamers? not really sure it would be good but its the only option i dont see.

i thought about flamers, but as it is immobile, well the person would have to be daft to come near it.

Armour 14!!! no way the rules set up are waaayyy too much

Aside from the Baneblade Front armour or the Land Raider armour (AV 14) you also have a slew of rules that makes it even better!

wow Ill take as many of these things as I can.

I mean you basicly have a Immobile Land Raider with BS 5. And take the TL Lascannons wow.. just wow...

Then you get the chance to reroll that result. And since it cant be immobilised again there is really only two results that can hurt it, blown up or weapon destroyed. But that doesnt matter because you can take two! wow!!

i think the point cost is good
but maybe armour
F 14
S 13
R 12

something like that
or 13 all around for the same point cost is good
and you use the rule for "vulnerable to blast templates"
but make it vulnerable to flamers since flame throwers were the bane of a bunker

Here are some points:

Same rules as IG turrets (except SM BS)

Double the points, and leave it as is.

Lessen the armour 12, and loose the special rules and leave the point cost.

HUH... didnt even think about a LR has 14 armor too.....cood point!

and the Flamer thing is a must. Thats what flamers were made for was trenches and bunkers!!

DoW turret, awesome! The rules seem solid except for the armor 14. I say change it to 10, 11 or 12.
