| I'm not in the full mood to make a full battle report, so I'm just going to do a quick summery. Once again against kenshin620, this time at our own home since the store was holding a tornament so there was no room. We both had just gotten new units, I now had a havoc sqaud and noise marines. Kenshin had just gotten bikes and a proper command squad. He also put in a DH inquistor with some scrapped-together henchmen (I'll be sure to post pictures of them once I get good ones). Anyway, here's my army list and how each unit faired. Oh, this was mostly a shooty battle, considering the terrain we were using and how many ranged troops we both use. HQ’s: Ju-kom (Sorcerer) -Mark of Tzeentch (4+ Invulnerable Save, can use two psychic powers) -Personal Icon (Deep Strike w/o scatter within 6”) -Bolt of Change -Doom bolt Total: 170 Never saw battle. Started in the back, stayed there til it was too late. Chaos Lord -Terminator Armor -Mark of Nurgle -Personal Icon -Pair of Lightening Claws Total: 155 Did....not too well. He died against Kenshin's assault marines and jump chaplain, only taking out two of them and wounding the chaplain. Didn't use his personal icon in time for the termies either. Greater Daemon Total: 100 He finished the assualt marines off right after coming out...and then had to retreat because I didn't want him getting in range of Kenshin's inquistor's psycannon. Shas'O (put in to even out the points) -TL Plasma Rifle -Burst Cannon -Stimulant Injector -HW Target Lock -Hw Multi Tracker -Bonding Knife Total: 138 None of his weapons reached, his TL plasma rifle is useless since he has 5 BS. I should've given him a missile pod, those things always seem to work best for me. Body Guard 1 -TL Missile Pod -Shield Generator Total: 73 Probably the most annoying thing to kenshin. This thing kept popping out and firing its missiles and then jumping back to hide so it couldn't get hit. Did a pretty good amount of damage. Body guard 2 -Fusion Blaster -Missile Pod -Targeting Array Total: 69 First crisis suit to die... Elites: Terminators (5) -1 Champion -Icon of Nurgle -Chainfists (2) -Reaper Autocannon -Combi-flamer Total: 260 Since my personal icon carrier died, and the other holder was all the way in the back, I decided to take my chances with a scatter...put them right in front of all of kenshin's forces...didn't even survive to assault once. Possesed (5) -Icon of Slaneesh -Champion Total: 160 Did ok, got furious charge, managed to take out two more assault marines before dying. Troops: CSM (6) -meltagun Total: 115 did nothing...got hit by bikers and died to assaults. CSM (6) -Champion w/ Power Weapon -Icon of Chaos Glory -flamer Total: 135 Also did pretty much nothing. Champion was the one I sacrificed to bring out the greater daemon. Berserkers (8) -champion w/ power fist Total: 208 USELESS PIECES OF ****!!!11 I am seriously going to take these guys out as soon as I can, they couldn't do a thing except stand there and do nothing, or move out and get shot at! Noise Marines (5) -champion w/ doom siren -sonic blaster -blastmaster Total: 175 I love these guys now. Blastmaster works awesome...until he died of course, then they also sat around and did nothing. Fast Attack: Spawn (2) Total: 80 died without contributing anything...should've seen that coming. Heavy: Defiler -Extra CC arm (+1 Attack) -Havoc Launcher Total: 155 got immobilized on the first turn...by a SNIPER RIFLE!!!...still ended up being able to use the havoc launcher for a bit until that got destroyed, and then wounded the assault marines in an attempt to melta bomb it. Havocs (5) -champion w/ power fist -heavy bolter (2) -lascannon -autocannon Total: 200 Worked awesome, long range awesome! But they died out too quickly. Things I've learned. -I shouldn't deep strike my termies hasitly ^^;; would've worked better to bring them in at the back and support with long range. -My berserkers suck at the moment...they can't charge well enough to do anything... -spawn don't do anything -havocs and noise marines should be bolstered with extra troops to use as casualty fodder. Any other suggestions? I think it may have just been bad commanding on my part. If you need some more details, just ask.

| Lieutenant ![]() | Spawns work great! When you turn an enemy`s independed charater into one! ![]() My personal advice would be to focus on something that actually works and get more of it. Your army seemed a little too thin and too spread out. Did any of the squads die out completly from single assaults? ![]()

| ummm, the CSM didn't fare too well against the bikes, since they got shot and then assaulted if that's what you mean.
