Blog Entries: 5   |  Most Recent Game My 1500 K Tyranid Force vs 1750k Space Wolves i know it was unbalanced, but the last time it was 1k vs 1k and i pwnd him. So.... Turn 1 my infiltrating Broodlord and 11 stealer retinue get a nice full move and assualt on a termie squad and slaughter them to a man my stealers with scuttlers advance then advance then fleet. My biovores with bio acid do nothing. (shoot, miss horribly) my tyrant and guard advance. my stealers (Squads of 12) get shot up, my broodlord/retinue now a 10 men get shot down to 7. my tyrant and guard shrug off all incoming fire. Turn 2 my tyrant and guard advance some more..... Genestealers advance fleet and assualt 2 different squads leaving 3 survivors in 2 squads. My biovores shoot and hit a pred, glancing hit armament destroyed (las sponsoon) my broodlord/ retinue assualt another termie squad leaving 3 alive and taking 2 more wounds. My tyrant loses 2 guards, i lose 2 more stealers in assualt phase but kill remaining 3 in those 2 squads. my broodlord squad takes another wound and kills the 3 remaining termies. Turn 3 my 2 squads of stealers assualt a Dred (yaay) and do nothing. 1 squad wiped out to 1 stealer remaining. My tyrant advances again (I'll be removing him from future games, too slow) My broodlord squad assualts the predator causing a 6-6-6 and loses all but the broodlord himself. My biovores shoot and miss again. now everything but the Tyrant and biovores are locked in assualt. the above includes all the assualts in both turns. Turn 4... My spore mines float into the dred. boom and kill 1 last stealer and 2 of another squad. MY TYRANT ADVANCES... and has nothing left to assualt. VICTORY FOR ME!!!!

| haha nice job! yeah what did your HT have? was he to be a shooty suport role? and just didnt get the chance or just a slowpoke cc monster?

Blog Entries: 1 | get rid of guards, mostly usefull on shooty tyrants anyway. get wings instead, oph and more stealers.

| or keep 2 guards drop the cc stuf cause he is slow and pick up devourers and barbed stragler or venomcannon depending onwhar your fighting. oh and hightend sences. with all the other nasy cc stuff might as well have som good support, i see winged tyrants and a big bullseye anyway and its probly not gonna survive long enough to get its points back imo.

| That was quite a game. Make sure and play a couple of games with your Tyrant using wings. If that doesn't help any drop it then.

Blog Entries: 5 | I used it using Mycetic Spore Depolyment we developed here on terra, went much better. I dont need the wings and i can keep the guard  oh the look on his face when that thing scattered 1" away from his command squad litterally it was so close i almost pissed my pants, but he could not escape!

PS I`m thinking of droping necs and tau off that list for fluff and diversity reasons but that still leaves me with at least 3 choices! Ah, the pain!
