my second battle.

for my second battle, i changed my list up a little bit. here it is.

captain maximus, combi-melta, power weapon, bionics, melta bombs, artificer armor
120 pts

chaplain ikenos, master of sancity, melta bombs, bionics
110 pts

agent X-007, vindicare
110 pts

squad vade, 5 marines, vet sarge with power fist and bolter
90 pts

scout squad alpha, 5 scouts, heavy bolter
70 pts

total = 500 pts

so deployment was cool. on my side there was a building then a clear space, then ruins. (this was going right to left) in the middle was a couple buildings with a large clear space in the middile. on his side was a building (on the left)

my two characters went on opposite sides of my deployment zone. on the roof of my building was my 5 ma squad of marines. my vindicare went on the roof of the left hand building. my scouts went behind/left of his building.

his force was a solid block on the right of his building, with his lord to the top corner of the building.

it came down to wher he had killed everything cept the vindicare and the sergeant from the squad of marines. his lord was down to one wound from the vindicare (all bullets cept shield breaker gone) the sergeant ran in and ripped the lord into 500 pieces with his power fist and then (in fluff) blasted the pieces with his bolter so many times that the lord could never be regenerated.

i lost, but killed his lord. (the only thing i killed all game) on the plus side, i picked up a tactical box so i can flesh out squad vade and give my force commander a command squad.

you realy need to take 1 char and and drop the assasin for those small 500pt games lol you would be way better off taking as many troops as possable in such small games. save that assasin for when you get up to like 1250 or 1500. eather way sounded like ya had a good time. so cheers and better luck next time.
