Default Four C'tan??

Ok a friend told me that there are two more C'tan other than the deceiver and nightbringer, i kinda found some info bout them but now i cant find the web page.
anyone know anything about them??

And is there any other way i can find out more bout the necron race apart from the codex.... eg books, graphic novels and whatnot?

basically, the outsider is compleatly insane after it was tricked by the deciever into eating too many other c'tan and it also had a nasty run in with the the eldar laughing god, which didn't help much! (great, if a 'sane' c'tan is evil, i hate to think just how bad an insane one is!!!)

the void dragon is thought to be hiding on mars and masquarading as the machine god worshiped by the techpriests...
the dragon is also the strongest of the c'tan. the talismans' of vaul which are ment to kill the c'tan failed misserably against the dragon! instead, they left it weakened and thus it fled to the quietest, most remote corner of the galaxcy - ours!

cheers!

The Outsider is floating around in space. Check out the little teal star near where Hivefleet Leviathen turned.
http://www.joachim-adomeit.de/wh40k/spacemap/map.html
I have heard some fluff the Necrons and Tyranids are complete opposites and will avoid each other if they can. Not sure if thats true or not so don't quote me on it.

note that the talismans of vaul were meant to kill the average ctan (the one that the outsider ate) meanwhile the void dragon is anything but an average ctan. also note that his strenght dwarfs that of the other ctan so i believe that the weapon worked wonders if it sent him packin.

The void dragon... well, most people like to believe that he's pretending to be the machine god (or, actually is the machine god, which is utter rubbish). However, we actually can't be so sure, I prefer the theory myself though.

I also enjoy the mystery of the Dragon being the Machine God. This can take on an interesting twist if one thinks about this in conjunction with the Imperial Cult, and how they relate the Omnissiah and the Emperor. If the Omnissiah is part of the Emperor, and the Dragon is the Omnissiah... interesting. Completely untrue, but interesting.

As for that map, that coincides with Wikipedia's description of the Outsider being trapped in a Dyson Sphere.

then there's also the recent necron invasion of mars... a number of necron ships attacked the planet, and one even managed to land on its holy surface before being destroyed!
the mine the necrons had landed near has since been declaired off limits and quarentined...

perhaps hidden deep within the mine is the dragon's tomb?!!

cheers!

hmmm this raises more questions.

lets assume that the machine god is the void dragon and he is in mars

does this mean that the ad mech know about the void dragon and what he is about.

could it mean that they are just unknowing pawns in his master plans or are they serving him buy keeping technology frozen so as to weaken his enemies for when his rise to glory comes?

I do beilive that they are keeping him a secret. Reading the Caiphus Cain novel Caves of Ice shows that the priest worship the necrons more highly then the emprorer. That is until they killed all but one of preists searching the tomb.

well, there is division within the mechanicus already thanks to the heretic adept corstwain!
he found out the truth about the c'tan and because not all of his works were destroyed, there are now those among the ranks of the tech priests who believe as he does and secretly worship the c'tan as the true facet of the ommnisiah!

cheers!

DUN DUN DUNNNNNN

i think it would be plausable that the deceiver tricked the adeptus mechanicus into worshiping the 'omnissiah,' actually the dragon.

the void dragon I believe is worshiped by some of the ad mech but not all by any stretch...Also the Dragon might be, like the Emporer, be crippled for life by the talisman of vaul that was used on it...

Why do you guys think the Necrons tried to land on Mars even though they must of known they would fail? ...I think they would of been forces of the deceiver checking up on his old pal, the void dragon maybe making the suicide rush in order to get close enough to scan the dragon's lair quickly so the Nightbringer, or more likely, the Deceiver could gain some valuable intelligence on his condition?
