Thumbs up Wow.......

First off thats the most impresive necron army I've ever heard of, congrats,
your strategy should be a mix of armor and heavy infantry tactics, I myself is a semi-noob but I know wat I'm doing. If you could tell me what are the most common enemies that you fight i could help more.

Also do you even know how to play the TT game?
no offense

a few more wraiths would be a nice addition to this list. their ability to ghost through objects would be critical during late game to take objectives. that and they are pretty fast.

I do know how to play, but the few games I've played I've lost badley.
My average enemy is my friends Dark Eldar, but against anyone else I'm usually fighting marines

well against your dark eldar friend i cant offer much help. ive never fought one and i doubt i ever will.

the space marines on the other hand are different.

let the marines get into rapid fire range. shoot them with the double shots and then use the monolith to teleport them out of the way.

another strategy is what ive already said about the wraiths.

also make sure your lord(s) have ressurection orb and keep them close to your warriors as they are your weak point and your best strenght. also if you see any powerfist or power weapons in your enemies ranks destroy that squad. thats one of the few weapons that will take a necron out of the game for good.

also a word of rule advice. if your throwing out more shots than he has squad members you can designate one shot to anyone you want. if he has 10 soldiers and you have 11 you can designate one shot to that sgt of his and attempt to take out the power weapons/fist

Against the DE, deploy in terrain. That will help you beat them down since you will both be I-10. You could also deploy in the open and deploy your scarabs in a long line infront of 2 warrior squads. This will protect them from assault(slightly) and force target priority tests. After your scarabs are about to get hit you could Veil of Darkness one squad and use your monolith to warp the other one out*this is not really a good tactic but it might be worth a try against your opponet*. Finaly use your destroyers to take out those raiders ASAP. Thats all i got, hope i didn't reapeat anything, and as always good gaming.

Aginst dark eldar.

Meat sheilds of scrabs, tie up the wyches.

If he plays a fireline with counter attack:
Get the monolith as close as possible and deep strike your warriors into it.

If he comes to you, out your scarabs like two inches infront of the warriors or put them in terrain and use your scarabs to clog the holes.

the wraiths will easily chew up most units.

Just remember even a necron has a good chance of chewing up a raider!
the dark eldar casn only glance your monolith, unless they get close and use haywire granades. (For the love of god dont let that happen!)

That is a very nice start. Scarab Swarms are nasty for tying up enemies while the rest come up behind and remember they move like jet bikes so they can boost 24"!!! Also it wouldn't hurt to grab some Immortals. I played a Necron player at 1,500pts who had 20 of em(along with a pile of warriors, a Tomb Spider and a couple wraiths) and put them in cover. I think I maybe killed 7 of them the whole game!!!

more wraiths would definatly be a good thing. they are very fast, durable, and are very good in close combat. keeping them in reserve when playing a close combat army such as nids would be good as they can be a rapid response force to any trouble areas.
