Blog Entries: 4 | So providing GW dont write the Necrons out from 40k (somthing I cant see happening-theyve made to much of the fluff over recent years and with their DofW appearence) what do you see is next for them-any new units?Pariahs becoming a Troops choice as more humans are harvested and turned into machines?More vehicles-do they need them with their ability to teleport? | Extremis Diabolus ![]() ![]() | I think that there should be at least one new war machine added to the Necrons. As more and more "wake up", we should see more vartiation and new stuff coming with them. I would hope Pariahs aren't troops. That would be insane. But Techno-traitors, half-Pariahs, golems and tomb-guarding stuff I would enjoy seeing. I also hope they make the whole getting-up thing turned into simply "Feel No Pain". Because right now, it's over-complicated. And I hope they make Necrons weaker on the whole so they don't need the silly Phase Out rule. Because it's silly (and other words I will not type here). I would also like to see the C'tan taken out of the Codex because (as argued in another thread similar to this), if they're "gods", then they should not have stats. Did Horus have stats? Does the Emperor have stats? Do the Chaos gods have stats? No. Thus, if the C'tan have stats, they must not be gods.

Blog Entries: 4 | our Necrons Redux thread has basically most of the stuff we're hoping for. But generally Pariahs will not get turned into troops as that would be too powerful. C'tan should be able to either possess (sort of) a lord for lets say 2 turns, or be purchased as an upgrade that gives them more power or something. the way c'tan works right now i dont like, particularly fluffwise. Monoliths can be tweaked a bit, though doesn't really matter. Necrons definitely need more warmachines, and large-sized machine creatures

Blog Entries: 4 | I know many peole are put of the Necrons cause of the lack of units-one of my regular gaming buddies desperatly wants a second army (he wants a enemy army as he has a Guard one) and really likes the Necron fluff, but as he said its a boring army to look at! Things like Torqs Machine Golem would be a great start-see his pic Blog, almost a dreadnaught for the Necrons! |

Blog Entries: 4 | haha tyvm. that was what the golem was intended to be, but i made it a bit too wraithlordy ![]() Gonna get back to that sometime and redo xD the thing is, i see that a lot of cheeseballbeardy crons players are still in them. lack of units mean nothing when you field max warriors + lord with veil and orb. and a monolith

Blog Entries: 4 | yep the number of times Ive faced the endless hordes of Necron warriors,a scarey prospect! I think its just the thought of not being able to vary youre army even if you want to!When I play nids I usualy play lots of Gaunts but I know that if I wanted to I could vary it. Some nice big choices would be good to see-units that really stand out on the battlefield. |

| I seriously don't want to see any new editions to the army list...it would be inappropriate I feel. Do redo of the models and put the Necron Pylon in the Codex (or a baby version of it), as for C'tan, GW will never make a Dragon or Outsider model. I'm curious, the C'tan were born at the birth of the Universe so wouldn't it stand to reason that there are other C'tan in other Galaxies beside the Milky Way? It would be a bit stupid if all the C'tan that were created just happened all to reside in our Galaxy! ![]()

i like the idea of pariahs as troops - it would make an interesting list, though i dont think it should be anything mainstream. another c'tan would be cool, though like others, i doubt it would happen unless as part of a big summer campaign thing, which i think GW are toning down | |

Blog Entries: 4 | if GW wanted to make pariah as troops. GW would tone them down a bit and / or make them cost slightly more, or just limit them to 0-2 or such. C'tan should be gone altogether. The way they work just, well, doesn't work for me.

| Trooper ![]() | i had seen on one of the gw webpages that there are actually 4 c'tan still around, but two are still asleep on tomb worlds somewhere or whatnot :P id like to see at least one necron walker/mech, that would be cool, the monolith is cool but they need some other kind of machine of doom :P

Nightbringer = teh awesome god of death/reaper dude Deciever = the Laughing God (see Harlequins) who took on Slaanesh and beat him (though wasn't able to KILL him) [apparently slaanesh and khorne used to be part of Khaine, whose shattered pieces are avatars.] Void Dragon (or "the dragon") is believed to be resting on mars and possibly is the "machine god/omnissiah" and the "outsider", well little is known about him.

| Extremis Diabolus ![]() ![]() | The Outsider has been conjectured by some to be the master of the Tyranid swarms, but this is obviously untrue because they use warp powers, something the C'tan abhor. The Outsider is trapped outside the galaxy in a Dyson Sphere (or so I've heard), and that's about it. Saying the Dragon is the Omnissiah would be implying something quite profound and scary for mankind. I'm not bashing the theory at all, just saying that you have to realize the full implications of what you're saying. Think about the Omnissiah's relation to the Emperor...
