| okay, after going back over and correcting up all the new pts values, i've finally come up with this! i'm hoping it looks fairly solid and will be able to handle pretty much any enemy... (well, undead will be a pill seeing as they're well, dead!) Battle Standard Bearer w/Holy Banner of the Reaper ('counts as' Banner of Sigismund) Cost; 143 pts Amazeroth, Warrior Priest w/Hand weapon, Great weapon and Heavy armour. Cost; 98 pts Acolyte Marcus Corvin, Wizard w/Hand weapon, Dispel Scroll. Level 1 Amethyst wizard. Cost; 90 pts Core Units: The Gatekeepers; 10 Black Knights of Morr Each w/Great weapons, Full plate armour, Barded Warhorse. Cost; 200 pts Hammer of Morr; Great Cannon. 3 Crewmen each w/Hand wepons. Cost; 100 pts Rare Units: The Harvester of Souls; Helblaster Volly Gun. 3 Crewmen each w/Hand weapons. Cost; 110 pts Total: 1999 pts well, the biggest changes was swaping the master engineer for a warrior priest so i could get an extra dispel die, and adding a 4th magic level onto my general! the warrior priest will likely go with the greatswords and the other characters will either sit back behind firendly units and/or join the spearmen... well, by all means please rip it to shreds! ![]() cheers!

Cost; 295 pts drop the sigil and the biting blade, mount him and get him a sword of might. he currently has a 6+ save and a 5+ ward. Give him a barded warhorse and it'll be 4+/5+. I'd rather see the lord choice and the 300 points on a well equiped Arch Lector w/ War Altar. Heroes: Count Lucious, Captain w/Hand weapon, Full plate armour. Battle Standard Bearer w/Holy Banner of the Reaper ('counts as' Banner of Sigismund) Cost; 143 pts Drop the baner of sigusmund... stubbord is only good if you plan on losing combat, you should never lose combat...get the griffon standard instead to make sure. put him with a big infantry block with detatchments, preferably swordsmen Amazeroth, Warrior Priest w/Hand weapon, Great weapon and Heavy armour. Musician Standard Bearer Sergeant Cost; 120 pts Detachment; 10 Free Company fighters each w/Hand weapon & Additional hand weapon. Cost; 50 pts Convert the haliberders to swordsmen. Add the BSB. Make the detatchments 3x3 haliberds or free company. Haliberds are not an option for a parent unit. increase size to 35. The Guardians; 13 Handgunners each w/Hand weapon & Handgun. Marksman w/Hochland long rifle Cost; 129 pts Good. get 1 more. The Lost Souls; 10 Archers each w/Bow and Hand weapon. Huntsmen Cost; 100 pts I've never tried this... I don't think archers are very good now that they have to me in units of 10... I'd drop them. Special Units: The Deathguard; 17 Greatswords each w/Hand weapon, Two-handed sword, Full plate armour. Musician Standard Bearer Count’s Champion. Cost; 200 pts Needs to be at least 25 strong Hammer of Morr; Great Cannon. 3 Crewmen each w/Hand wepons. Cost; 100 pts Good. Get 1 more. place on flanks near knights. that way they get diagonal shots for more hits. Rare Units: The Harvester of Souls; Helblaster Volly Gun. 3 Crewmen each w/Hand weapons. Cost; 110 pts Good. I love the Helblaster even if it doesn't autohit anymore. Your list looks confused. Do you want to shoot or advance or go balanced? I play a balanced list with good results. Cost; 110 pts Total: 1998 pts a few of my hopefully sound ideas; - i know the wizard lord w/speculum is the oldest trick in the book, but even a gobbo unit champ is a better fighter than he! plus it might also have the effect of keeping a rather powerful enemy character from attacking?! the biting blade is simply cheap, and the stat swap should hopefully give him a decent S4 or 5 attack... if i could find a way to get him mounted, i would! - i've gone for 6 knights/unit because i suck at armour saves! the plan is to run them up my flanks or use the 2 units together on a really nasty unit like chaos chosen! - i'm keeping the huntsmen simply because there's a tonne of orc & gobbo players in my area. i have yet to see a greenskin army with less than 8 fanantics so the bigger unit size will hopefully mean i can draw out more than a single unit's worth of ball & chain loons! cheers!
